Information available to Joy News indicates that popular showbiz pundit on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z, Bertrand Nana Turkson, has passed on.
According to Ato Turkson, his younger brother, died at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital on Tuesday afternoon.
Nana Turkson was rushed to the Hospital Tuesday morning after he complained of poor physical condition.
Ato Turkson said he was called to come back to the Hospital because Nana Turkson’s condition was deteriorating.
To his utter surprise, he was greeted with the sad news of his brother’s passing. The family is awaiting an autopsy to ascertain the cause of death.
Nana Turkson had been battling diabetes for a while.
“It is with a heavy heart and painful that I break this sad news and announce the death of my brother Nana Turkson. He died this afternoon at Korle-Bu. The family of the late pundit is also in shock. In due course further details will be communicated,” he shared on a WhatsApp platform.
A regular pundit on Showbiz A-Z since 2008, Nana Turkson was on the show on Saturday, August 4, which featured dancehall act Shatta Wale.
He was 42.
